Rabbages Road New House

This was a design exercise of Geoff’s for some land he owned in northern Victoria. The central idea was to work around a rock wall, which created two hearths and defined all the spaces. The other idea was to capture rain in a wing-like roof and create an expressive form out of simple gestures and a palette of corrugated iron, black-stained ply and local rock.
